Keria Nashed
Keria Nashed (b. 2001, she/her), pronounced (kuh-ray-uh nah-shed), is an interdisciplinary artist from Nashville, Tennessee. She received a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in photojournalism and political science from Western Kentucky University in 2023 and a Master’s in Fine Arts from Watkins College of Art at Belmont University in 2025. As a visual artist, she specializes in documentary photography, archival scans, fabric weaving, textiles, embroidery, and mixed media work. Her work opens conversations of understanding identity, creating connections and intertwining herself in the misunderstanding of it all. She tells stories of past and passed, seen and unseen, internal and external, disorienting, disconnecting, and remembering.
